OC Veterans Resource Center

The Veteran Resource Center is focused on the success of our veteran students. The VRC has a designated Veterans Counselor who understands your VA benefits and how to ensure that you utilize these benefits to accomplish your goals.

The Veterans Resource Center serves students associated with the military and their families. Approximately 300-400 students seek services from the VRC on average per year.

The Center is a place to relax and network with fellow veterans, active duty service members, and reservists. It’s where veterans will be supported on their educational journeys. The Veterans Resource Center team provides the following support:

  • Academic Counseling and VA education-related documents
  • Applying for VA educational benefits
  • Campus/Community Referrals
  • Outreach & Early College Preparation
  • Mentorship & Networking Opportunities
  • Veterans Club
  • Much, much, more…

Support the Veterans Resource Center

The Veteran Counselor and student workers focus on helping students in the VRC by providing a shared perspective. The VRC tries to understand and help its veterans by examining the many factors that impact veterans’ transition from boots to books. Our goal is to assist veterans with services that can help them assimilate into civilian life. We have a vast network of services such as mental health, employment assistance, and social clubs.

Oxnard College Veteran Alumni

Alumni are the lifeblood of Oxnard College, as well as the Veterans Resource Center. We loved having them on campus during their college years, and wish to stay in touch throughout their careers. We invite all alumni to join the OC Alumni Network. We host events, share news about faculty and fellow graduates, announce job openings, and more. Complete the alumni update form and be a part of something special.
