Carnegie Art Scholarship
Carnegie Art Scholarship
Carnegie Art Cornerstones’ mission is to promote creativity, learning and growth in the careers of artists, and to inspire passion and appreciation for arts and culture in Oxnard and Southern California. To mitigate the financial challenges of undertaking an art career, CAC invests in emerging artists primarily through college scholarships. With this support, CAC hopes that art students can create and share their work to inspire an appreciation for the arts. Cornerstones has been helping to sustain Visual Art in Oxnard and Ventura County for over three decades, receiving its 501(c)3 designation in 2002. CAC encourages students to use scholarship funds for art supplies and art equipment necessary for current art studies and/or producing current art projects.
The Carnegie Art Cornerstones Scholarship awards artists, who are transferring to four-year universities.
100% of all funds contributed to the scholarship are allocated to the Carnegie Art Cornerstones Endowment Fund, managed by the OC Foundation.
