2024 Lifetime Condor Award

Marti Dibble

Born and raised in the heart of athletic endeavors, Marti’s journey began at OC in 1985, where she laid the groundwork for her legacy. The humble beginnings of OC’s training room epitomized Marti’s resourcefulness. Operating out of a modest space with minimal amenities, she provided essential care to athletes, often with limited resources. Even when the training room underwent a less-than-ideal relocation to makeshift trailers, Marti’s unwavering commitment to her craft never faltered. During the 1994 World Cup, Marti had the privilege to work with the Cameroon National Team. After suffering a back injury in 1996, Marti had to retire from her role as an athletic trainer in 2005. She then transitioned into an adjunct instructor, imparting her wisdom to future generations of aspiring athletic trainers. Marti bid farewell to OC in 2013, leaving behind a legacy defined by unwavering dedication.
