OC Foundation board member, Gabriela Rodriguez, was featured on the front page of today’s issue of Vida Newspaper for outstanding service to others.
Gabriela is the director of Proyecto Exito, a Title V Grant aimed at helping students determine their career paths.
Raised in Oxnard, she earned a master’s degree in Education with a Guidance Counselor credential after completing her undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology at UC Santa Barbara. She actively serves the community through the Oxnard Monday Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, Oxnard Police Department Chief’s Advisory Committee, Alzheimer’s Association, LUCHA, and I’m a Kid Who Can.
