The Oxnard College Foundation Scholarship program awards upwards of $250,000 scholarship grants to students each year. The amount grows with the creation of new scholarship funds.

In the past two years, the OC Foundation has helped create two named endowments and start ten new scholarship funds.

If you’re considering the creating of a new scholarship fund, we’ll work closely with you to make it happen. The process is very simple.

Please indicate your interest by completing the Scholarship Fund Interest form. It’s very basic, but provides enough information to begin the conversation.

  • When you complete the form, Pete Parker will contact you to discuss the following.
  • Determine the amount you wish to award each year.
  • Identify the type of student you wish to support (Transfer, Continuing/Returning, Entering)
  • Develop criteria (e.g. preferred or required field of study, career path, minimum GPA, location of residence)
  • Craft a simple description of the scholarship fund and the impact you’re looking to create.
  • If you’re creating a memorial fund, provide a description of the person you’re memorializing.
  • Decide if you wish for others to contribute toward the scholarship fund.

If you have any questions, you’re welcome to contact Pete Parker.
