The OC Foundation is excited to spend the day recognizing the vendors and patrons who make the weekly Oxnard College Community Marketplace so special.
We’re thankful for our vendors and will remind them that, through their vendor fees, they’re changing the lives of students through scholarship grants. These awards enable students to pursue and achieve their educational and career goals. The Marketplace is linked to hundreds of success stories achieved by past and current students.
The day will begin with OC Foundation staff and volunteers visiting each vendor with a small gift of thanks. The fun will continue throughout the day, as Oxnard College student clubs will be conducting special activities for our patrons. In fact, the Dance Club plans to perform routines for all to watch. And, beginning at 11:00am, everyone will enjoy the very popular band, Relincho Norteno.
As a bonus, Indivisible Ventura will be hosting its monthly Swap Meet Justice, which is a collective of community organizations providing information, programs, and services to community members. Roughly 30 local organizations will assemble in front of the Gymnasium.
The entire community is invited to enjoy a day of family, fun, food, entertainment, activities, community services, and shopping. We’ll see you on Sunday, November 20 from 9am-3pm on the Oxnard College campus!
