Sunday’s Marketplace was an extraordinary event, full of treats for the entire community. For the first time since before the pandemic, the Oxnard College Community Marketplace hosted a special event during its regular Sunday program.

Thanks to our friends at Radio Lazer, outstanding student volunteers from the Automotive Technology and Dental Hygiene programs, and incredible staff members, the Marketplace entertained a large crowd of community members. Vendors welcomed children with big smiles and hands full of tasty treats. From fun games to trick-or-treating to unique costumes, everyone had a great time. Even the Oxnard College Police Department participated by handing out candy, taking photos, and decorating one of its patrol cars.

It was truly an amazing experience for everyone.

The Community Marketplace takes place every Sunday. The next special event will be on November 20, when we shine the light onto our vendors, bring live entertainment, and more activities for children.
